Workplace Giving

Workplace Giving is an easy way to support ALS United Greater Chicago. Your gift supports all aspects of our mision - Care, Advocacy, and Research. Giving at work through payroll deductions is simple and there are many convenient ways to contribute.

Contributing through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)

As a member of Community Health Charities (CHC), we are one of the voluntary health agencies participating in the CFC.

Federal government employees are encouraged to participate in the CFC and may designate ALS United Greater Chicago by writing ALS United Greater Chicago on the Workplace Giving Form.

Making Your Gift through the United Way

If your company participates in the United Way Campaign, you can still designate your contribution to ALS United Greater Chicago. All you need to do to support ALS United Greater Chicago is designate your pledge through United Way's Donor Choice Program by following these simple instructions:

  1. Read the instructions on your pledge card
  2. Write ALS United Greater Chicago, 5315 N Clark St, #650, Chicago, IL 60640 on the card OR
  3. Call ALS United Greater Chicago at (312)932-0000 for additional information or if you have questions

Doubling the Impact of Your Gift

If your company has an employee matching gift program, you could double or triple the impact of your gift to ALS United Greater Chicago.

Even if your company isn't listed here, check with your Human Resources Department to see if you have a Matching Gifts Program. If you do, you will be given a form to complete. After you complete the form, send it to: ALS United Greater Chicago, 5315 N Clark St., #650, Chicago, IL 60640 or fax it to: (312) 932-1155.

Please Note!

During the transition time of The ALS Association Greater Chicago Chapter becoming ALS United Greater Chicago, your company may still have The ALS Association Greater Chicago Chapter in their system!

When submitting your matching gift, ensure the Tax ID Number is 54-2126575 as that will ensure no disruption in ALS United Greater Chicago receiving your gift.
