“Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.”
Come out and volunteer with ALS United Greater Chicago! We have a series of upcoming opportunities perfect for individuals or groups.
- April 25-27th in Champaign: This is our 3rd year as an official charity partner with the Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend. Volunteer with us at the Expo or at one of the many races!
- Saturday, June 1st in Wheaton: Our annual Walk ALS Chicago event returns to Cantigny Park! Volunteers make this day possible and fuel the largest regional fundraisier that fuels year-round care and support.
- Sunday, June 2nd in Chicago: Lou Gehrig Day returns to baseball stadiums across the nation this June. The Cubs will be playing at home in Wrigley Field and the White Sox will be playing the Brewers in Wisconsin. Join us to honor a baseball legend and support ALS awareness!
- Calling Snail Mail Fans: Are you interested in sending mail to local individuals living with ALS to bring them cheer throughout the year? Let’s send some smiles across the miles!
Email kathryn@alsunitedchicago.org for more information or to sign up for any of these fun opportunities!
