Lou Gehrig Day, held annually by MLB on June 2^nd, marks the day Gehrig became the starting first baseman for the New York Yankees, the beginning of his incredible streak of consecutive games played.

With two MLB teams in Chicagoland, we celebrate Lou twice a year. The Chicago White Sox take on the Detriot Tigers at 6:40 PM on June 2nd. The Chicago Cubs will honor Lou Gehrig Day on Sunday, June 15 with their 1:20 PM game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. More details and ticket links available soon!
