Central Illinois – We Want You! Have you attended the Central Illinois Resource & Support Group lately? It is on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm by Zoom. Get the link at alsunitedchicago.org/calendar

The group is a way to connect, collaborate, and explore what is important to the ALS families of Central Illinois. Topics we have discussed recently include opportunities to expand the volunteer program to support ALS families in need of help with small projects, National Park Disability resources to allow ALS client’s to have the full experience, and how to cope with the unpredictability of the disease.

The more that attend, the better the experience for all. Like the sunflower, we draw strength when we stand together.
