Golf to Defeat ALS – Mike Rickey Charity Classic

When Mike Rickey was diagnosed with ALS, his ability to golf was one of the first things ALS took from him. Golf to Defeat ALS was founded by the Rickey family in an effort to take it back, while bringing both fun and funding to individuals impacted by this terribly unfun disease.

Location: WeaverRidge Golf Club, 5100 N WeaverRidge Blvd, Peoria, IL 61615
Format: 4-Person Scramble – Flighted
Cost*: $150 per Individual Golfer | $300 per Twosome | $600 per Foursome
*ALS individuals and their primary caregiver are invited to participate and/or attend as our honored guests! We hope you will come watch or participate FREE OF CHARGE in any or all of the day’s events!

Registration Includes: greens fees, carts, golfer gift, unlimited range balls, free unlimited on-course beers/seltzers/non-alcoholic beverages, boxed lunch, participation in Hole-in-One & Longest Marshmallow Drive contests, and entrance into post-play party with dinner buffet & silent auction!
- Options to register as an Individual, Twosome, or Foursome are available via “Get Tickets.”
- If you don’t know all the golfers in your group, you can still register! Just skip over the part asking for golfer names. You can log back into your account at any time to add names.
- Don’t have a twosome or foursome? No worries – just register as an individual or twosome and we will place you with other individuals or twosomes.
EVENT TIMELINE:
- 10:30 am – Golfer Check-in
- 10:45 am – Lunch
- 11:45 am – Welcome & Announcements
- 12:00 pm – Shotgun Start
- 5:30 pm – Post-play party, prizes & silent auction
DON’T GOLF? No worries – you can still participate! You’re invited to attend the post-play party with dinner buffet and silent auction.
- Cost – Post-play Party Only: $30.00. Tickets can be purchased under “Get Tickets.”
